Global region support

Live Hub operates in four regions, each hosted in a corresponding Microsoft Azure region:

Live Hub region Azure region
Europe (Frankfurt) Germany West Central
France Central (Paris) West Europe
USA (Virginia) East US
Asia (Singapore) Southeast Asia
  • For the best call quality, use the Live Hub region closest to your voice applications.
  • Traffic is only routed between Live Hub entities in the same region.

European regional redundancy

Europe is served by two Live Hub regions, so services deployed there can fail over from one region to the other. If you deploy services in Europe, configure your SIP servers, bots and other integrated applications to work with both European regions: Europe (Frankfurt) as the primary and France Central (Paris) as the failover, or the reverse.

With both configured, services fail over automatically if the primary region becomes unavailable, which keeps calls running through the outage.

Validate the failover configuration before you rely on it: confirm that your SIP infrastructure, bots and integrated applications can switch between the two European regions.
